Do You Need a Divorce Order?

While we can still help you if you have not finalized the details of your separation (including child support), Rimawi Law is offering flat fee pricing on legal fees to obtain a divorce order if you have finalized the details of your separation or do not have any children.

If you have not finalized the details of your separation and do not have any children, it is still possible to obtain a divorce order, but this could result in the other side bringing an Application. If this happens, the divorce package pricing only includes the divorce and not representation on the Application. It is possible to have the divorce package fee applied towards representation on all issues if you wish to retain Rimawi Law.

Divorce Packages Starting At $750

Below are three different divorce packages to fit your scenario. Please keep in mind that the pricing only relates to the legal fees. Pricing does not include disbursements incurred in obtaining the divorce order. Examples of disbursements incurred in obtaining a divorce include:

The divorce fee - this is payable to the government regardless of whether you do this on your own or not. Although you could be eligible for a fee waiver that lowers the fee to $10

The Process server - you may be able to serve the other side by another means but technically the Family Law Rules do not permit a party to serve the other side with a divorce application.

The cost of a replacement marriage certificate.

Package 1

Scenarios:

You already have an order resolving all issues between both parties
You do not have any children
You do have children but the order sets out the child support amount
You do not have any property to divide and just need a divorce order

You have a separation agreement that resolves all issues between both parties, but you do not wish to incorporate the terms of the separation agreement into a court order and only wish to obtain a divorce order

Additional Information

If there are problems with documents or you have particular circumstances that require different steps to be taken, the above package prices will be increased to reflect the different steps required to obtain your divorce.
The above package prices assume that you have all the documents needed to proceed with a divorce order. If the lawyer is required to obtain documents, the above prices may change.
If legal advice is required for any of the above packages, there will be an additional $500 charge applied to the package base price.
